Coronavirus update
We are postponing some events due to Coronavirus
It is with great sadness that we have made the difficult but responsible decision to postpone the following events, due to the ongoing situation regarding the Coronavirus:
- Sunday 22nd March - Suffolk Spring Classic
- Sunday 29th March - Ridgeway Rouleur
- 18th-19th April - New Forest Spring
- Sunday 3rd May - Surrey Cyclone
- Saturday 16th May - Jurassic Beast
- Saturday 30th May - Ride Cotswolds
- Saturday 13th June - Vale Velo
- Sunday 28th June - Peaks Tour
- Sunday 12th July - Mendips
- Saturday 25th July - Malvern Mad Hatter
- Sunday 9th August - Ride Yorkshire
- Saturday 17th October - Cobbler Classic
- Saturday 7th November - South East Classic
We have been monitoring all government recommendations and therefore based on the latest information and in the interest of staff and rider safety and putting the greater needs of the wider community at the forefront, it’s the most responsible thing to do. We ask for your patience while we evaluate the next steps in this ever-changing situation. Everyone who has entered one of the above-listed events should have had or will be sent an email regarding the ride credit, transfer or refund options available. If you have not, please contact enquiries@ukcyclingevents.co.uk and we will be able to help you.
Please be aware that we are now working on a reduced staffing level and those who are still able to work are doing so from their homes. It may take a little longer than usual for us to respond to any queries.
We are working our way through any refund requests. If you have opted for a refund, it will get to you but it may take longer than expected. Customers who have opted to defer to next year or have opted for a credit note will be contacted in due course. This will likely be when we return to full capacity later this year. For customers that have asked to transfer to an event later this year, we will be in touch regarding your entry. There is a possibility that more events will have to be postponed due to ongoing Government restrictions so please be patient with us while we monitor the situation.
If you have entered a virtual challenge, your entries are still being processed and you will receive your welcome email as normal. Once the challenge month is over, we will collate and vet entries to confirm completion and send out an email so you can download your certificate. Medals will be posted out to customers who have purchased that option as soon as we are able to return to our offices.
We would like to thank everyone for your continued understanding of the current situation and want to take the opportunity to wish you and your families good health.
Stay safe, stay healthy, #StayinandRide.
