Tackle the Long or Middle Route, featuring Leith Hill, the highest point in Southern England (294m!), and explore the stunning Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Box Hill awaits those on the Long Route – a true challenge for seasoned cyclists and a bucket list climb!
New to Cycling? No Problem! The Short Route, with just over 50km and 500m of climbing, offers a fantastic introduction to the beauty of the Surrey Hills. Perfect for beginners and casual riders!
Whichever route you choose, prepare to be amazed. Weave through a breathtaking variety of landscapes, from rolling chalk downs and vibrant grasslands to lush woodlands and scenic heaths.
At the finish line, you can celebrate your accomplishment with a well-deserved medal and goodies from our sponsors. Relax and socialise with fellow riders in our vibrant post-race village, complete with pizza and good company.
The Surrey Hills Classic is a favourite among UK Cycling Event riders due to its accessibility and the chance to conquer iconic climbs.
It's a fantastic opportunity to challenge yourself, explore stunning scenery, and enjoy the camaraderie of cycling.

There are certainly some big hills which also means long descents. Amongst the climbs there are some fast flat sections to keep your leg moving.

The Routes
Choose your route carefully. The distance and elevation gain should give you some indication as to how easy/hard each route is, as well as showing you where the tougher climbs are.
