The Mendips Classic 2024
Saturday 13 July 2024 | Strode College Sport Centre
Online entry has now closed. On the day entries will be accepted and costs an additional £5 over the standard online entry price.
All three routes make their way through the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, creating a wonderful experience for all riders, with stunning scenery all around. Riders taking on the Long and Middle routes will experience the breathtaking views of the Cheddar Gorge while those on the Short route can enjoy a scenic and accessible ride through the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, without the extreme elevation gain.
Whichever route you choose it will be a fantastic day out on the bike where you can immerse yourself in the rolling hills and charming villages of the Mendips. Together with the friendly atmosphere and stunning scenery, it will be a cycling experience to remember.
All routes will be extremely well signed so you can navigate with ease and focus on the ride. We will have multiple feed stops along the way so you can refuel and stay energized throughout your journey. We will also have your back with mechanical and medical support on hand should you need them. All this and more is put in place so all you have to do is turn up with your bike, helmet and other essentials so you can enjoy your ride and explore the beautiful landscapes.
After a picturesque but tough day out on the road, you will be rewarded for all your efforts as you cross the finish line with a finisher's medal and other goodies from our event partners.
Register now for the Mendips Classic and experience a cycling adventure you won't forget!
