The Cambridgeshire Classic 2025

Saturday 8 March 2025 | Huntingdon Racecourse

Online entry has now closed. On the day entries will be accepted and costs an additional £5 over the standard online entry price.

The Cambridgeshire Sportive is part of our Classic Series which has been designed with all riders in mind and is our first ride of the year. There are three routes to choose from on this event, each of varying distance to suit different types of rider and there's nothing too technical on any of them, making this Cycling Sportive a fun day in the saddle.

Regardless of which route you choose from, the event will take you on a fantastic ride through the County of Cambridgeshire.

Starting at Huntingdon Racecourse, all routes head out past Brampton Wood and round the edge of Grafham Water. The Long route undulates continuously along the route clocking up nearly 800m of vertical ascent without ever going over 80m above sea level.

The three routes available will take you on an adventure out of Cambridgeshire, across to Bedfordshire and, on the Long Route, you’ll even briefly ride up into the East Midlands county of Northamptonshire. Across the three routes and three counties, you’ll be treated to many kilometres of quiet country lane riding with a variety of forestry and farmland lining the route.

Of course, you’ll be rewarded for all your efforts as you cross the finish line to receive a finishers medal and other goodies from our partners.

Last year, the Cambridgeshire Classic sold out pretty quickly so make sure you book early to avoid disappointment.
