There are certainly some big hills which also means long descents. Amongst the climbs there are some fast flat sections to keep your leg moving.

Entrants under the age of 12 ride free but must be entered at the same time as a paying adult. All riders under the age of 16 need to be accompanied by a participating adult who is responsible for them at all times.

Choose your route carefully. The distance and elevation gain should give you some indication as to how easy/hard each route is, as well as showing you where the tougher climbs are.
