UKCE x Pelotan Partnership
We're thrilled to share some exciting news — UK Cycling Events (UKCE) has partnered with Pelotan, the world's leading sports sunscreen brand and the first-ever sunscreen to become an Official Product of the Tour de France.
Pelotan is trusted by WorldTour teams UAE Team Emirates and EF Education-EasyPost, and it's built specifically for the demands of endurance athletes — SPF30 protection that lasts up to eight hours, lab-tested to perform through heavy sweat, and lightweight, non-greasy, and bar-friendly for hours in the saddle.
As part of the partnership, UKCE riders will get early access to Pelotan's full product range and the chance to try it for themselves at our sportives throughout the season. Riders will also get access to UV Load™, Pelotan's new free app that tracks sun exposure stage by stage — the very same tool riders at this year's Tour de France are using to manage their UV load in real time.
We think sun protection deserves the same attention as nutrition, hydration, and pacing — it's a genuine marginal gain, and one that makes a real difference after a few hours in the saddle. We're delighted our riders are joining the WorldTour peloton in taking it seriously.
