Fast sections through the open countryside, mixed with woodland tracks and chalky flint lined descents.
Choose your route carefully. The distance and elevation gain should give you some indication as to how easy/hard each route is, as well as showing you where the tougher climbs are.
Helmet (no helmet, no ride). Helmets must comply with the latest US Snell B90/B95 or European CE Standards

First aid kit (recommended)
Mobile phone for emergencies
Lights and high visibility clothing (on days where fog or rain is forecast or where light is likely to be reduced)
Facemask (for venue) and hand sanitiser
Ideally, you will need to ride either a Gravel or Mountain Bike for this event. If you have a Cyclo-cross bike you will be able to use it but it may not be as comfortable or stable on some of the route sections. Road bikes are not suitable for these trails.
