The Wiggle New Forest 100 Sportive took place on both the 16th and 17th September 2017.
Leaving from Somerley House, Ringwood, Hampshire, riders had a choice of three routes - 100, 59 or 30-mile - to venture out into one of the most popular and beautiful locations in the UK. In fact, the New Forest 100 is many cyclists' "bucket list" events with most coming back to ride it each year.
One of the highlights of this ride are the first blushes of autumn colour present in the national park’s foilage — transforming the forest into a southern English wonderland. As a result of this mollifying scenery, combined with a relatively low 4,461ft of climbing, the Epic 100-mile route — for those who choose it — could potentially be one of the easiest century rides you’ll do.
