Our Classic Series is designed with all riders in mind. With four routes to choose from and nothing too technical we would love to see as many riders joining us for one of our Classic events as possible.
Starting just outside the walled city of York our four Yorkshire Classic Routes showcase the glorious areas of both North Yorkshire and East Riding of Yorkshire.
The long route takes you up and over enough vertical ascent to give your legs a true taste of the area, whilst our Rook ride at only 142m of climbing is perfect for anyone wishing to explore the area for the very first time on two wheels.
The toughest climb of the ride is a short and sharp 1.9km burst with an average of 6.5% as you come out of the village of Leavening. Negotiate that, and the rest is 'rolling' through the beautiful countryside Yorkshire has to offer.
Of course you’ll be rewarded for all your efforts as you cross the finish line to receive a finishers medal, beer from Freedom Brewery and other goodies from our partners at Jimmy’s Iced Coffee and OTE sports.
We’ll be back in Yorkshire for our Tour series event in September but for now we hope to see you in April for our Classic series event

Up and Down! Be ready for some out of the saddle climbs and sharp descents. The routes will certainly add to your yearly elevation gains.
Standard online entry closes on Wednesday 7th April 2021 at 1pm. On the day entries will be available if the event is not sold out. On the day entry costs an additional £5 over the standard online entry price.
All entries are subject to a small booking fee.
Entrants under the age of 12 ride free but must be entered at the same time as a paying adult.
Choose your route carefully. The distance and elevation gain should give you some indication as to how easy/hard each route is, as well as showing you where the tougher climbs are.
