Due to high demand for this sell out event in 2012 we have a new bigger venue for 2012 with enhanced indoor facilities and showers. The three routes (39 mile Epic, 28 mile Standard & 17 mile Short) showcases the best riding in the amazing South Downs.

UK Cycling Events course designer lives here and has put together his best local routes to ensure you have a truly special ride. This route will provide some stunning views of the south coast from the top of Kingley Vale and St Roches Hill, some challenging climbs including Cocking Hill and sweet descents on quiet single and double track bridleways. The South Down Way also make a appearance.

Now in its 4th year and with over 600 riders attending in 2012, this Classic South Downs MTB event is a must do!

Kids ride Free!

We want to encourage young riders to enjoy the pleasure of cycling. That's why all riders under 16 years ride for free when accompanied by a paying adult!

Online pre-entry

Online pre-entry is the easiest way of entering and saves £3.00 per person vs. entering on the day. Online pre-entry will save you time on the day of the event allowing you to simply pick up your registration pack from the 'Pre entered collection point' and avoid having to queue up. Please note: if a event reaches its capacity we will have to close the event to riders wanting to enter on the day. It is therefore best to pre enter online to avoid disappointment!

On the day entry

On the day entries are available at all our events as long as the event has not sold out prior to the event day. On the day entries are subject to an additional £3.00 per person surcharge. Payment can be made with cash or cheque. You can fill out an entry form when you arrive at the event. One entry form must be completed per person. Wiggle Customers will not be able to receive any loyalty discounts on the day.

Awards

Although all our rides are non competitive events (i.e. not races), most people still like to know how well they've done. With this in mind we will time each participants ride. When you complete your ride your time will be calculated and these timings, along with the timing Award you achieved, will be displayed on the Website. Each rider will receive a timing award of either; bronze, silver or gold, depending on their average speed. Of course, some riders aren't bothered about all these awards and just cycle for the experience and stunning scenery.
