Last years event attracted over 1200 riders and sold out within weeks of going on sale.

OK… you are thinking…what’s the catch??? Simple… if you turn up, and ride we will refund your £25… If you do not ride we will give your entry fee to Charity.

Basically, if you do book a space and ride, everything is free and you will get a load of goodies as well! If you don’t turn up … No Excuses…your Entry fee will help support our Charity for 2012.

Not only will you get a stunning course which takes in the best and quietest roads in the 3 counties of Cambridge, Bedford, and Northamptonshire. You will get, well stocked feed stations, disposable chip timing, mechanical support, Free tea and coffee, Free copy of Cycling Active, massages, Bike Wash, finishers medal and most importantly a well marked course!

In addition to the Epic 80 mile route, there is a Standard 45 mile route, allowing riders to choose their own challenge.

As we have designed this sportive to encourage riders to ‘Get out and Ride’ and the Sportive is strictly limited to 1200 spaces. If you book a free space and don’t ride you will get charged £25, it does not matter if your car has broken down or your dog has eaten your cycling shoes…whatever the Excuse, we do not want to hear it ☺

With suitable ride lengths and terrain for the beginning of the season and everything completely Free…there has never been a better time to ‘Get Out and Ride’.

Note – Riders are urged to book early to avoid disappointment. There will be no on the day entries and the event is likely to sell out fast, as it is free.

We want to encourage young riders to enjoy the pleasure of cycling. That's why all riders under 16 years ride for free when accompanied by a paying adult!

Online pre-entry is the easiest way of entering and saves £3.00 per person vs. entering on the day. Online pre-entry will save you time on the day of the event allowing you to simple pick up your registration pack from the 'Pre entered collection point' and avoid having to queue up. Please note: if a event reaches its capacity we will have to close the event to rider wanting to enter on the day. It is therefore, best to pre enter online to avoid disappointment!

On the day entries are available at all our events as long as the event has not sold out prior to the event day. On the day entries are subject to an additional £3.00 per person surcharge. Payment can be made with cash and cheque. You can fill out an entry form when you arrive at the event. One entry form must be completed per person. Wiggle Customers will not be able to receive any loyalty discounts on the day.
