Iconic New Forest Sportive

If you want to ride one of the Best and biggest early season sportives, look no further. The Wiggle New Forest Spring Sportive, is one of our most popular events, selling out months before the event every year.

Now in its 5th year, this sublime sportive is a must do and is voted in the UK's top 10 Sportives. Based in the iconic New Forest National Park with has average speed limits of 20-30 miles a hour, the quiet forest roads allows you dust of your bike and warm up your legs by taking in the breathtaking scenery in peace.

Riding with 2000+ like minded riders, will ensure you have a magical experience.

The Wiggle New Forest Spring Sportive has 2 route lengths (86 miles / 58 miles), The route differs from our end of session finale (The Wiggle New Forest 100 Sportive), but incorporates the same spectacular scenery of the New Forest National Park, combined with wild animals grazing at the roadside and picturesque villages – a great early season ride! As the event is likely to sell out well in advance of the event, please book early to avoid disappointment.

Kids ride Free!

We want to encourage young riders to enjoy the pleasure of cycling. That's why all riders under 16 years ride for free when accompanied by a paying adult!

Online pre-entry

Online pre-entry is the easiest way of entering and saves £3.00 per person vs. entering on the day. Online pre-entry will save you time on the day of the event allowing you to simply pick up your registration pack from the 'Pre entered collection point' and avoid having to queue up. Please note: if a event reaches its capacity we will have to close the event to riders wanting to enter on the day. It is therefore best to pre enter online to avoid disappointment!

On the day entry

On the day entries are available at all our events as long as the event has not sold out prior to the event day. On the day entries are subject to an additional £3.00 per person surcharge. Payment can be made with cash or cheque. You can fill out an entry form when you arrive at the event. One entry form must be completed per person. Wiggle Customers will not be able to receive any loyalty discounts on the day.

Awards

Although all our rides are non competitive events (i.e. not races), most people still like to know how well they've done. With this in mind we will time each participants ride. When you complete your ride your time will be calculated and these timings, along with the timing Award you achieved, will be displayed on the Website. Each rider will receive a timing award of either; bronze, silver or gold, depending on their average speed. Of course, some riders aren't bothered about all these awards and just cycle for the experience and stunning scenery.
