Supported by New Forest Cycling Club.
New Forest Cycling Club was established in 1934 and we have just proudly celebrated our 75th anniversary. By coincidence we currently have around 75 members. Being based in the heart of the beautiful New Forest National Park we are able to enjoy our riding on scenic and mostly traffic-free roads.
Our main focus is on time-trialling and we stage events for club-members & visitors every Tuesday evening from mid-April through to the end of August. If you are keen to have a go, you can ‘Come and Try It’ at most club events, but please try to contact us first for more details. We also have training rides most weekends of the year and have recently introduced an easier ride on Sundays to allow less-competitive riders to join in.
As well as time-trialling, various club members take part in cyclo-cross; road racing; duathlon; triathlon, touring, running and, of course, Sportives! Although we enjoy all sorts of competition, we don’t let it get in the way of enjoying ourselves and have various social events scattered throughout the year, as well as occasional pub rides.
